Diving in Antarctica is an unique experience for the advanced diver. Not just ice but an amazing underwater world with an interesting marine life filled with creatures that look as if they come from another place like Giant Isopods, worms and fearless seals. The diversity of benthos with the rays of sunlight create an overwhelming and ever-changing spectrum of colours. Take your time to explore the Kelp walls, sea-snails, crabs, Sea Butterflies, various Antarctic fish, Shrubby Horse-tails, jelly-fish, squid, sea-hedgehogs, starfish and krill, and appreciate what only a few divers have seen before you.
As well as the priority we give to our dive operation, we also offer an exciting on-land programme and will always have a zodiac ready for those explorers who do not wish to dive, but who like to go for a long hike or take their time for topside photography. The beautiful surroundings of the Antarctic Peninsula is a paradise for all, divers, adventurers, naturalists and photographers with its amazing array of colours and moods and diverse wildlife.
The opportunity to be in the company of thousands of penguins, watching whales and seals, and cruise around in our zodiacs between brilliant white icebergs and ice floes will amaze you with awe.

Our Specialty- Underwater Photography and Topside Photography

One of the specialties in our programs is Photography, underwater as well as on land. We have award Winners of the BBC Wildlife Photography, World Press Photo and well-known cinematographers from National Geographic and Discovery Channel on board, and we love to share their passion with you. Through workshops, tips and assistance to your camera gear.
Please check with us which professional photographer will join your chosen trip.

Dive operation

The dive operation on board is organized by polar dive experts who have experienced many extreme situations in the field and who are trained to search out the best opportunities for diving, taking into account the unpredictable weather and ice conditions. We maintain the highest level of safety in combination with quality diving.
We don’t dive through a wide hole in the ice, but in a controlled environment under small grounded icebergs, from the shore or a zodiac or an ice shell.
Please contact us for further detailed information on diving procedures and what dive equipment you should bring.
